Steps of Guest Login thru SMS Authentication

  • Guest will connect to open WiFi and redirected to a Captive Portal or login page.
  • Guest enter Name, Email ID, mobile number etc on login page to get OTP on their mobile thru SMS for verification and get WiFi.
  • No need of additional SMS GATEWAY.
  • All the information entered by Guest will be saved in internal memory of the controller and can be used for marketing purpose.
  • Guest can also be redirected to a website after successful authentication to increase traffic which is good for SEO
  • An auto E-mail with full list of Guest visited will be sent by Controller to Marketing department every week/month/year etc.

  • Guest will enter the venue and connect to open WiFi and redirected to a Captive Portal or login page.
  • Guest will move to reception and get the Token and enters the user name & password on the login page
  • Once successful validation of token guest will be redirected to enter his email ID
  • Guest enters email ID and a verification link is sent by Edgecore Hotspot gateway to guest email ID 
  • Guest will go to his email and clicks on verification link to enjoy WiFi as per the Voucher/Token Plan.
